A typical GRT project starts with an in-depth conversation with the client, who informs us about their intentions. What is the overall status at the moment? What is the target?
GRT will ask the client to prepare a list of documents as well as making the premises available. Experienced, senior GRT staff will examine these documents and visit the client premises. A discussion with the client’s technical experts is often desirable to understand which actions/efforts have been undertaken already to achieve the desired target.
ASSESSMENT AND VERIFICATION
Based on these first findings we will then make an assessment of the potential to improve energy efficiency / reduce the environmental impact. We may want to carry out a deeper investigation, which may include some measurements on site to verify our hypothesis. Based on this data, we can then ensure that our proposal will meet the designated targets.
Our proposal will comprise designated changes to the infrastructure/trains as well as the expected impact, but will be discussed with the client. Changes may occur to accommodate particular clients needs.
GRT will not only elaborate the technical solution, but -if desired- finance the necessary change in the infrastructure as well. In this case, we work on a performance based contract.
We are happy to participate in the implementation or even lead it altogether to ensure that all necessary changes are carried out in an adequate and timely manner. In addition to the system design for the improvements, we also collaborate with our partners for the manufacture of the state of the art products which fit the particular requirements needed to provide an outstanding solution. We collaborate with re-knowned manufacturers to ensure state-of-the-art technology and reliability.
REAPING THE BENEFITS
Once the agreed upon solution is implemented, we jointly observe the results with our client and make adaptations should the need arise.
